Experience the heart opening essence of Guatemala with our 1 lb Lava Love Ceremonial Cacao Bar. Sourced from the Pacific coast and handcrafted with ancestral care, this cacao carries the wisdom of the Quiché and Kaqchikel Maya communities who have tended these lands for generations.
Our cacao grows in the volcanic foothills of Atitlán and Tolimán, in the villages of Suchitepequez and Cerro de las Flores. Enriched by fertile soil and the lush agroforestry systems of the region, every bean offers a soft floral aroma followed by deep earthy notes that linger with warmth and grounding.
Each step from harvest to your cup is rooted in intention and respect. The beans are roasted on a traditional metal plate once used to cook tortillas for Maya children, then hand peeled by Indigenous families and stone ground into a rich silky paste. After resting in molds for 8 to 10 hours, the cacao is packaged in biodegradable wrapping, honouring the land that sustains it. Even the cacao shells are returned to the earth as natural fertilizer.
Choosing Lava Love Cacao supports local farmers, strengthens Indigenous food traditions, revitalizes ecosystems where coffee once dominated, and helps restore biodiversity through reforestation and native plant integration.
This bar is more than cacao. It is a sacred food, a medicine, and a living bridge to ancient Mayan teachings. Ideal for ceremonies, creative work, meditation, or daily nourishment, Lava Love Cacao invites you to connect with the heart, the land, and the lineage behind every sip.
